"As a Chartered Architect I had chosen to design and project manage an eco house which embraced several elements of sustainable technology. This included high levels of insulation, controlled ventilation with a heat exchange unit, underfloor heating,wood burning stove, energy efficient lighting and efficient air tightness. Brian worked closely with me to maximise the potential of energy efficient light fittings, heating controls, smoke and carbon dioxide detection.

Although I had some fixed ideas for the lighting both inside and outside Brian added extra value by taking an enthusiastic and creative approach to my requirements. This resulted in a greatly enhanced end result to the design both inside and outside, in particular his input was greatly appreciated regarding the type and position of light fittings.This approach was carried out for all of the electrical installation's.

At all times Brian was reliable and accommodating with a very positive attitude. Nothing was too much trouble regarding re evaluating options and gave valuable advice. The standard of workmanship met my high expectations as a Chartered Architect. Brian's overall professional design input and delivery was greatly appreciated throughout the project.

As I had chosen to project manage the build I was directly reliant on trades that were efficient and would work effectively together. Brian fully co-ordinated his input with the other trades, in particular the heating and plumbing contractor. This involved discussions on and off site which were always very productive ensuring that the project kept to programme."
